A few years before the COVID-19 pandemic, I had created an earthenware series called "After the Apocalypse". I had begun to wonder about the apocalypse theme that appeared in a number of films and books, so I decided to explore that. The series is composed of figures re-emerging from the earth, changed but hopeful. Covid and other emerging viruses, along with climate change, seem to continue the relevance of this series.
